Beautiful place. Plenty of picnic tables and grills. They even have a little snack bar. It has a spot to blow up your floats. You can rent canoes. The only thing for us that I didn't like was the beach part wasn't very sandy. More like rocky dirt. Which is fine for kids a little older than my daughter. But at 1 yr old she needs more fine sand. But it didn't change the fun we had. Water was nice and clean. Swimming area is a little small but they limit the number of people who are there. We purchased our day pass the night before online to reserve a parking spot as they fill up quickly. Made getting in very quick and simple. Just hand the person at the booth the printed pass and you are all set. The bathrooms were clean. Everything was easily accessible and we enjoyed the day. Would absolutely go again and would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap, fun beach day and picnic area.
Small sandy beach (not a high quality sand) with a small swimming area but a GREAT picnic/grill area underneath the trees with a few swings for kids. Very easy to find shade even on a busy day. A nice grassy area is adjacent to the beach. There is a small store with a boat rental (kayaks, paddle boards). Restrooms nearby.
This place I grew up loving just because of the sheer beauty and nature that is here. I always love coming here to relax and destress. Kingston will forever be a beautiful town and home with mine Considering just how long I have been here plus the beautiful vocals and food that is around can never get enough of this place
Great place for quick getaway, when come here it's better to have a reservation especially for holidays or weekends. Go online and reserve a spot for around $8 in this way you have guaranteed parking space. Park is nice and clean, water is worm and it's just nice to sit a the picnic tables surrounded by nature. You canoe, kayak, swim or just bring a floating piece and you're all set.
Lovely family public beach with picnic areas. You can buy water floats, rent canoes and paddleboards. Wonderful staff and very clean.
Quiet and peaceful in the November and December months. Perfect for a reflective walk or to take some nature photographs!
It's a small but nice park. The State Park workers kept the park clean and patrolled often. Has a playground for kids. There were many picnic tables and grills in the shade of the trees. Great place to canoe or paddle board.
Real bathrooms in dedicated buildings... Clean, well maintained. Small vending area on site. Easy to get to. Nice parking setup. Playground for kids. Nice, though small beach. Lots of good picnic tables, many with dedicated grills permanently mounted nearby. It's popular, so go early to claim a table with a grill, or take your own.
No trash disposal onsite.... Pack it in, pack it out.
Low entry rates. Friendly and polite park attendant. No glass containers, loud music, or smoking parapernalia allowed...
